For me, it just wouldn’t be autumn in Virginia without a trip to the orchard to pick apples. I love the taste of a crunchy apple plucked right from the tree. I adore the sounds of kids running through the orchard, squealing with delight as they find another one. And, of course, I love all the wonderful things I can make with those apples.

Fall is in air and Halloween is almost here. What better time to spend quality time outdoors with the family? Picking pumpkins at local farms is an autumn tradition for many of my friends, and the homemade pumpkin pies that come from local pumpkins are to die for!
